We are excited to offer our local community and friends the opportunity to explore the Jewish heritage of Barcelona with our guided Jewish History Tour. During this 2-hour tour, we’ll stroll through the ancient Call, Barcelona’s Jewish Quarter, and learn about the city’s Jewish community from the 11th to 14th centuries. We’ll uncover key locations, important figures, and the impact of the Inquisition, while also touching on Jewish life in the 20th century, including the Spanish Civil War.
The tour concludes with a visit to Casa Adret, where we’ll dive into the history of one of the oldest houses in the city, its Jewish owners, its medieval architecture, learn more about the Cultural platform Mozaika, and its current role as a Jewish cultural hub.
Please note, by booking your tour with us, you are supporting the running of Casa Adret and its Jewish heritage projects. Your support is much appreciated!
