How many guests can Casa Adret host?
Casa Adret is ideal for intimate celebrations of up to 25–30 guests. [For larger families, we can arrange celebrations in local hotels, such as The Palace Hotel ]
Which Jewish traditions do you accommodate?
Reform, Conservative, secular or cultural. In our first call, we talk through your family's religious preferences and build the ceremony around them.
Who leads the ceremony?
We work with both Rabbi or experienced Hazzan, who leads the ceremony, and Sephardic music can be part of the celebration.
Do you help with preparation for the Torah or Haftarah reading?
Usually families prepare at home with their local rabbi or teacher, however online sessions with the Hazzan can be arranged. There are usually 2-3 meetings with the Hazzan before the big day.
What are the options for the ceremony?
Families can choose from three types of ceremony:

Hazzan-led ceremony at Casa Adret: focuses on prayer and Sephardic music, without a Torah scroll.

Rabbi-led ceremony at Casa Adret: the rabbi brings a Torah scroll for the reading.

Ceremony in collaboration with the Sinagoga Mayor: a Torah reading using the synagogue's own Torah scroll, in one of the medieval sites of Barcelona's Jewish Quarter.

Do you arrange kosher catering?
Yes, we work with local kosher caterers. We coordinate catering, music, décor and photography, so you don't have to manage suppliers from abroad.
What spaces can we use on the day?
The ceremony takes place in the medieval courtyard. Celebration meals are held in the medieval dining room, and the rooftop terrace offers views over the Gothic Quarter.
Is Casa Adret wheelchair accessible?
Yes. Casa Adret has a wheelchair ramp and a lift serving the first four levels, including the courtyard and the medieval dining room. The rooftop terrace is not accessible.
Can our guests explore Jewish Barcelona during the trip?
Yes. Many families add a private tour of the Jewish Quarter so guests understand the history of the place where the ceremony is held. Interactive activities for children and teens are available on request.
